The countdown to the PUBG Mobile World Cup, aka PMWC 2026 has officially begun. As one of the most prestigious international tournaments on the PUBG Mobile esports calendar, the event will bring together the world’s best teams for an intense battle for glory and a share of a massive prize pool.

Sponsored by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and the Esports World Cup Foundation, PMWC 2026 is expected to become a historic moment in mobile esports, with 32 of the world’s best teams participating in the competition. It is all set to be held in Paris, France.

PMWC 2026 Tournament Format

PMWC 2026 will feature a demanding three-stage format designed to identify the strongest and most consistent team.

Group Stage (August 6–9)

There will be two groups with 16 teams in each group out of 32 teams taking part in the tournament.

  • Top 10 teams go directly to the Grand Finals.
  • Teams from 11th place to 26th place will go to the Survival Stage.
  • Teams from 27th place to 32nd place will be knocked out of the tournament.

Survival Stage (August 11–12)

The remaining 16 teams will compete in 12 crucial matches for one final opportunity to stay alive.

  • Top 6 teams advance to the Grand Finals.
  • Bottom 10 teams are eliminated.

Grand Finals (August 14–16)

The final 16 teams will battle for the world championship title.
