Paper Rex secured the VCT Pacific Stage 1 championship after a dominant 3-0 victory over Full Sense in the grand final. The victory capped off an impressive lower-bracket run for Paper Rex, who recovered brilliantly after an earlier playoff loss to Global Esports. With this victory, they have qualified not only for VCT Masters London but also for Esports World Cup 2026.
Paper Rex defeated Full Sense in VCT Pacific Stage 1
While Paper Rex was among the favorites in the playoffs, they got off to a bad start when they lost to Global Esports. However, PRX did not crumble under the pressure but recovered swiftly and steadily improved throughout each match.
The first game on the Pearl map was the most evenly matched one between the two sides. While Full Sense tried to assert their dominance on the site, Paper Rex showed composure in key rounds and managed a 13-10 victory.
Paper Rex received another push from Lotus, controlling the pace throughout the game, successfully defending against all assaults from Full Sense, and emerging victorious with a score of 13-9 on the map.
Fracture would be the last map of this series of matches, as Full Sense attempted to make a comeback. However, they were unable to do so and were defeated by PRX with a score of 13-10.

With the VCT Pacific Stage 1 victory, Paper Rex officially qualified for both the Esports World Cup 2026 and VCT Masters London 2026. Alongside them, Runner Up, Full Sense and Global Esports have also made it into Masters London 2026.
VCT Masters London 2026 begins on June 6 at the Copper Box Arena, where twelve of the world’s best Valorant teams will compete for the international title.
