Now, a backstage report has surfaced regarding AJ’s absence revealing that the Phenomenal One missed the show last Monday night due to an undisclosed injury.

AJ Styles has been a workhorse on Monday Night Raw and played a vital role in getting the best out of Omos. Previously, many reports have fuelled the rumor mill that Omos has been groomed well enough to get a singles run, but as of now, WWE has no plans of splitting the duo.

Talking about AJ’s injury absence, it could well be a case when the Phenomela One might have picked up an injury at Crown Jewel where he and Omos challenged RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) for the Raw Tag-Team golds.
WWE Raw: Will AJ Styles & Omos get a rematch against RK-Bro anytime soon
As mentioned above, Styles and Omos were slated to face Randy Orton & Riddle in a rematch from Crown Jewel for the Raw Tag-Team titles. However, with AJ’s absence, the match could never happen, instead, we saw a triple-threat tag-team bout involving Alpha Academy, Street Profits, and the Dirrty Dawgs (Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler).

The Dirty Dawgs eventually won the match and challenged RK-Bro for the tag titles later in the night, only to end up on the losing side. It is still unclear when AJ Styles will return to the ring again, but when he does, he and Omos will get their tag-team Championship match against RK-Bro.
