This is WWE’s first direct deal with Disney. Disney has inherited WWE rights from Fox in Latin America.
In India, long term partner Sony Sports Network continued their association with WWE & Hotstar did not bid for the India rights when the rights came for renewal in 2020.

Disney+ Hotstar WWE LIVE: WWE’s association in Indonesia with Hotstar covers regular programming, all ‘premium live’ events and on-demand access to WWE documentaries and archived episodes.
Premium live event coverage, begin with the Royal Rumble on January 30.

A year ago, WWE struck a landmark US rights deal with NBC Universal to move its WWE Network programming to OTT platform Peacock. After the deal was announced, Khan said the property would focus on international expansion.
Disney Plus Hotstar was launched in Indonesia in 2020.
The streaming service costs Rp39,000 ($2.71/€2.44) per month or Rp199,000 per year. It is also available via Indonesian mobile phone network Telkomsel.
Disney is targeting 300 million to 350 million subscribers across its global streaming platforms by the end of 2024. In November, it announced it had 118 million subscribers – up 60 per cent on the previous year.
