VALORANT Masters Madrid Day 1: Matches
Match 1 – Karmine Corp vs FunPlus Phoenix
Karmine Corp, the EMEA Kickoff winners, started strong against FunPlus Phoenix. After a close first half on Icebox, Karmine exposed FPX’s tactics and took the map 13-8. Lotus was tighter, but Karmine clutched key rounds to win 13-10 and advance in the tournament.
Match 2 – Gen.G Esports vs LOUD
Gen.G faced a tough challenge against LOUD. Icebox was a tense back-and-forth battle, with incredible plays from both sides. Ultimately, Gen.G’s t3xture, Munchkin, and Karon shined, leading them to a narrow 13-11 victory. Gen.G closed out the series with another win, defeating LOUD 2-1.
