Floyd Mayweather Dives Into Liquor Business Like Rival Conor McGregor

As one of the most successful combat sports athletes in history, Conor McGregor is involved in many various business enterprises. He even has his own distinctive brand of whisky. After losing to Floyd Mayweather in a boxing contest in 2017, McGregor promised to produce his own whisky. The day arrived for the release in 2018, when he introduced Proper No. Twelve into the competitive whisky market, earning an estimated 750 million pounds in its first year.

Because McGregor not only contributed to the whiskey’s creation but also serves as the company’s chairman and majority owner, “Proper No. 12” bears his name. After a trademark battle, McGregor, 30, was forced to compromise on Proper No. Twelve instead of his original plan to name the whisky Proper Twelve after his own moniker, Notorious.

His incredible climb to wealth has been aided by his forays into the whisky and fashion industries. Conor McGregor, a professional mixed martial artist, has announced that on August 5, 350 ASDA stores would begin selling his Irish stout brand Forged in the UK.

McGregor just purchased a brewery to increase the production of Forged Irish Stout, which was first brewed in late 2020.

Floyd Mayweather, too has now decided to join his rivals in the liquor business, though he himself doesn’t indulge in drinking alcohol, or consuming drugs. Floyd Mayweather has been very serious about his body and takes proper care of it. He has been outspoken about the same issue and has already given an explanation of why he doesn’t drink.

Even though he doesn’t drink, Mayweather announced to his 29 million Instagram followers that he is creating his own champagne line. It is odd that Mayweather is making a profit off a product he chose not to use.
