Barbora Krejcikova

French Open champion Barbora Krejcikova is coming on the back of the third WTA singles title in Sydney Tennis Classic Final. She has gone from strength to strength after her Roland Garros crown. She reached round 4 in Wimbledon and made it to the Quarterfinals of the US Open. Now, she can look to continue her red-hot form in the Australian Open.

Emma Raducanu

Britain’s Emma Raducanu has stunned the world with her special performance. The tennis prodigy began her journey at Wimbledon with an impressive round 4 finish. She then stunned the world by winning the US Open without losing a single set throughout the tournament. She is now considered the favourites to win the Australian Open— another hard-court tennis event.

Coco Gauff

Teen sensation Coco Gauff has been playing well over the last couple of years. She had made it to round 4 at Aus Open in 2020. She had also made it to the quarterfinals of the French Open & round 4 at Wimbledon twice. The 17-year-old will now look to script history by clinching her maiden grand slam. She needs to overcome the challenge of World No.1 Ash Barty & defending champion Naomi Osaka.

Leylah Fernandez

Canada’s tennis sensation Leylah Fernandez took everyone by surprise after reaching the US Open finals. She beat a number of star players including former champion Naomi Osaka, World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka during her journey but eventually lost to Britain’s Emma Raducanu in the finals. She will look to finally capture her first major at the Australian Open. Besides US Open, she has also made it to the third round at Roland Garros.

Aryna Sabalenka

World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka has been impressive in numerous tournaments but has failed to capture her maiden Grand Slam title. She had reached round 4 at the Australian Open last year. She also reached the semifinals of Wimbledon & the US Open. Her impressive performance in hardcourt tennis events can give her the much-needed confidence to win her first major.
