Ajinkya Rahane
Ajinkya Rahane: The Indian vice-captain of the Test team has rather found it difficult to make a strong mark in the IPL lately. He started as a dashing opener for the Rajasthan Royals but that essence from his batting gradually faded away and probably that’s what cost him his berth in the Rajasthan Royals. But then he found the Delhi Capitals as his new IPL home. But with a strong Indian batting core already established on the Delhi side, Ajinkya Rahane most often than not found it difficult to cut through the playing XI in IPL 2020. Rahane featured in 9 matches in IPL 2020 but could gather only 113 runs with an average below 15, which added to his woes. Rahane will be keen to make amends in IPL 2021.
