As for the other places, Jonny Bairstow has found his form and is all set to open with Shikhar Dhawan. Benny Howell is the only unused foreign player and Punjab Kings would like to give him a go to test his skills.
Shahrukh Khan’s return is a possibility. But it will depend on whether Mayank is sitting out for the final game. Raj Bawa is also another U-19 star who has warmed the bench. Given he is an all-rounder, it remains to be seen whether he gets an opportunity.
In the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh and Kagiso Rabada will continue to be strike bowlers. But considering the Wankhede surface has been assisting the spinners, Punjab Kings could be tempted to go with Harpreet Brar as an additional option along with Rahul Chahar.
