In a lopsided compound women’s team final at the stage two event on Saturday, the Indian team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur, and Aditi Swami won their third straight gold medal at the Archery World Cup. They defeated Turkey 232-226. The top-ranked Indian compound women’s team dominated Begum Yuva, Ayse Bera Suzer, and Hazal Burun of Turkey right from the start. They went on to win the gold without dropping a set by a comfortable six points.
The top-ranked Indian women’s compound archery team advanced to the final after defeating the top-ranked USA team 233-229 in the semifinals. In the final eight, they defeated Italy 236-234.

Later in the day, when Jyothi and Priyansh play the USA in the compound mixed team final, India will be aiming for a second gold medal of the competition.
