‘A CT scan was conducted. The findings of the CT scan are normal,” BCCI said in a statement.“The BCCI Medical Team will continue to closely monitor his signs of concussion.” the statement added.
According to avilable information, Kishan hasn’t shown any concussion like symptoms up till now – but is being continuously monitored.

IND vs SL LIVE: India whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 by winning the 3rd T20 by 6 Wickets. As the custom is the entire Indian team lined up for the official photograph post series – but Ishan Kishan missed the ocassion.
Not only this, as per the available information – even in the team hotel, Kishan stayed put in his room only & did not mingle around with his teammates.
It is worth noting that the Mumbai Indians player was taken to Fortis Hospital in Kangra after being hit by bouncer during the 2nd T20.
“Team India wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan was struck on the head while batting in the 2nd T20I at Dharamsala on Saturday. Accompanied by a Team Doctor, he was taken to a local hospital last night for a check-up where a CT scan was conducted. The findings of the CT scan are normal,” BCCI said in a statement.
He was released from hospital on Sunday afternoon but since than has been kept under obseravation by the BCCI Medical team.
The board is unlikely to allow Ishan Kishan to join practice for next couple of days. Ishan Kishan is not the part of Indian test team & will be seen in action now in IPL 2022 starting from March 26th.
IND vs SL LIVE: What exactly happened to Ishan Kishan?
IPL 2022’s costliest player Kishan sustained a head injury during the 2nd T20 and was rushed to FORTIS HOSPITAL in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
Kishan was hit on the helmet by a short delivery from Lahiru Kumara. Ishan went for the pull but he missed the line and received the blow on his helmet.
The incident happened in the 3rd Over of the innings.
The batsman had scored 14 runs at that point of time. He looked a bit shaken after the blow and he had to get medical assistance on the field.
He however continued to play but his innings didn’t last long as he managed to add only two more runs.
He was dismissed for 16 as he gave away a simple catch to Sri Lankan skipper Dasun Shanaka at mid on off the bowling of Lahiru Kumara.
After showing signs of discomfort in the pavilion, Kishan was taken to the hospital in Kangra.
Ishan Kishan Injury Update: The Indian batsman underwent a CT SCAN and was kept under observation in Hospital overnight.
“His CT scan was conducted and he has been under observation at the Hospital” said Dr Shubham attached to the Indian team.
