Suyash Sharma was born and brought up in Delhi. He was born on May 15, 2003. He is currently 19 years old. He is predominantly a bowler. However, he occasionally bats also. His bowling style is leg break and his batting style is left-handed. The young spinner also paid his gratitude to the two-time champions after being bagged by them.

Speaking during the IPL 2023 mini auction, KKR CEO Venky Mysore said, “Massive credit to KKR scouting team. Because there’s a very young cricketer by the name of Suyash Sharma. He is a leg-spinner and he is a U-25 player. We were pleasantly surprised that we got him at the base price. We had kept him all the money for him and we got him at base price. The likes of Chandu Sir, Abhishek Nayar, and Bharat Arun everyone who has seen him said that he is a serious talent.

The two-time champions did not had much of a great time in IPL 2022. Under the leadership of new skipper, Shreyas Iyer, KKR failed to reached the playoffs stage of the last concluded edition. However, the Men in Purple and Gold made some smart even before the auction. KKR brought in Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Lockie Ferguson and Shardul Thakur as these players are set to boost KKR campaign in the upcoming tournament.
