The former RR player criticised Samson’s thought process and called it ‘another brain fade moment’ for the Kerala-born cricketer. Former New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris also had some strong words for Sanju and claimed that the RR wicketkeeper is slowly transforming into Prithvi Shaw.
Currently, RR is 6 down in chase of 172, with Ravichandran Ashwin the latest batter to depart. Earlier, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell played excellent innings, scoring half-centuries, which helped Royal Challengers Bangalore reach 171/5 on a slow wicket. Du Plessis scored 55 runs off 44 balls, while Maxwell contributed 54 runs off 33 balls, stitching a partnership of 69 runs for the second wicket.
