In the video, Pandya was shown as a bomb expert, who is seen advicing two members of the bomb squad are trying to diffuse a live bomb. He says,“Never underestimate a new person” but the bomb squad cuts two wires resulting in an explosion. The two new wires is a reference to the two new teams Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants and it serves as a warning to all the other eight teams. The video ends with Pandya reiterating the fact that good performance by new teams will be normal this IPL season.
The 15th season will start on March 26 at the Wankhede stadium with a blockbuster clash between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. With two new teams in the fray, the season will feature 70 league matches and 4 Playoff games, that will be played in the duration of 65 days. All the matches will be held at Wankhede Stadium & DY Patil Stadium, Brabourne and MCA International Stadium, Pune. The final is scheduled to be held on Marcg 29.
