Abhishek thrashes Rashid – In the 12th over of the match, Abhishek unleashed himself to start off with a six and followed that with a single. His partner at other end Aiden Markram supported him with three more strike rotations before Abhishek once again took the initiative to hit Rashid over to a six to end the over. The six also brought his second fifty of the IPL season.
Abhishek Sharma in numbers – Abhishek brought his second fifty of the IPL in 33 deliveries which included five fours and three sixes. Overall in the IPL he has 285 runs in eight innings with a best of 75, while Abhishek averages 35.62 in the current season. At the time of writing he is fifth in the Orange Cap standings and will try to improve on his numbers as SRH expect a big innings from him.

SRH make good progress after early setback – Abhishek Sharma was enjoying the conditions as SRH recovered from a poor start as they were 44/2, Abhishek and Aiden Markram both held their ends and their respective jobs. Aiden was dismissed on 56 runs of 40 deliveries which included three sixes and two fours as he also scored a fifty while SRH were approaching big score.
