The IPL 2022 Mega Auction will take place on 12th and 13th February in Bangalore where 590 players will go under the auction. Rajasthan Royals retained 3 of their star players as per the new rules of the IPL 2022 Auction. The Rajasthan outfits will be aiming to go big with a remaining purse of 62 Cr.

Rajasthan retained their skipper Sanju Samson for a price of 14 Cr while Jos Buttler and youngster Yashasvi Jaiswal were retained for 10 Cr and 4 Cr respectively.

2. Investing the Youth
One of the biggest involvement of players in this game has been the youth. Young players have taken the IPL as a platform to perform and earn their debut cap for the nation. 3. Bowling prowess
Out of the 3 players that have been retained by Rajasthan Royals, all of them are batters. With the opening, middle order, and wicketkeeper set. Rajasthan will have to extensively set their focus on their bowling department. At least 4 good bowlers will be required for the team, apart from the usual all-rounders. Two overseas players in the fast and spin department are needed alongside their partners from the Indian contingent. Young Indian pacer, Avesh Khan can be a good fit for this Rajasthan side.
