Soumya Tiwari, Shafali Verma and Gongadi Trisha played some crucial roles for the victory.

To note, India were also the first T20 champions when they lifted the trophy under the leadership of MS Dhoni back in 2007. Young Shafali has now registered her name alongside Indian veteran and can be looked as a future prospect to lead the Women in Blue.
