Shreyas Iyer who captained IPL side Kolkata Knight Riders joined the KKR franchise for a staggering price of 12.25 crores. Pictures went viral on social media after it was seen that the cricket star bought an expensive sports car from a car dealer, Mercedes-Benz Landmark Cars in Mumbai.

The supercar from German manufacturers Mercedes Benz includes the iconic 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine. The Mercedes-AMG SUV car is a beast in its own design and can easily go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

The new skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders had a decent first season for the Kolkata outfits. Though Iyer failed to qualify his side for the IPL 2022 Playoffs, he managed to score 401 runs, the highest in the team with a healthy average of 30.84.
