While he posted two images, he can be seen hugging Pandya in one of them. It is to be noted that the Indian all-rounder led Gujarat Titans to their maiden title in 2022. The fact that it was the debut season of the franchise made it absolute icing over the cake. Moreover, Rashid was an integral part of the team. As for the preparations ahead of the ICC T20 WC 2022, India were earlier in Perth and have now reached Brisbane to play their upcoming practice games.
Earlier, the Asian nation played two practice games against Western Australia, and won the first one. India will now be playing two practice games against Australia and New Zealand respectively before their opening game of the ICC T20 WC 2022, where they will be facing their arch-rivals Pakistan. In the meanwhile, Afghanistan will play their practice games against Pakistan and Afghanistan before their opening game of the tournament, which is slated to take place on October 22. If the Mohammad Nabi-led side are do well this time around, then Rashid will have to be at his best.
