The Cyber Showdown is Halo Infinite’s next big event, following the conclusion of the second week of the Fracture: Tenrai event last week. Cyber Showdown is introducing some pretty striking cosmetics to Halo Infinite when it launches next week, with a punk feel and brilliant neon colors. Here’s all you need to know about the event, including how much money you can expect to receive if you take part. The Cyber Showdown tournament begins on January 18th. Some of the new awards, such as a neon-coloured holographic mohawk, are shown in a short trailer. There’s no news on how long the event will go or what other prizes will be available, but data miners appear to have found a lot of that information already. The event will last two weeks, according to the sources, and will end on February 1st. A bright pink armor and weapon coating, a stance, a visor colour, a weapon charm, and more are all available to players.

The Cyber Showdown event in Halo Infinite will apparently include a collection of synthy cosmetics for players to deck their Spartans with, as the name implies. HaloNoticiasMX, a reputable Halo Infinite leaker, released this graphic with a breakdown of Cyber Showdown’s awards on Twitter a while back, but it’s reappeared now that some of the cosmetics are getting some attention.

Overall, following a shaky start with Fracture: Tenrai, Cyber Showdown appears to be a continuation of Halo Infinite’s great event performance. Players were only getting one cosmetic for every two Challenge Swaps or XP Boosts at the start of the event, discouraging them from continuing to complete the challenges. While it’s unclear what kind of difficulties participants will face in Cyber Showdown, the cosmetics alone make this event much more appealing.
