Out of their group-stage games in the qualifying round, they only lost once and drew once, winning the remaining 4 games. They also were in good touch against Mali in the qualifying knock-out game as they won and sealed their place for the big event.
Their strength has also been in being defensive and absorbing pressure and then counter-attacking well. They do have the players to play to this style and they will be banking on this strategy working out for them in Qatar.
