ENG vs SA 3rd Test: England third Test squad announced: England have named an unchanged 14-man squad for the series-decider and third Test against South Africa. With the selectors going with the same 14, they have kept faith on the squad to deliver them a series win in Manchester.

To be fair, it is not a huge surprise that England did not make any changes. Teams normally do not break their winning combination, and England likewise have not tinkered with their squad.

The first two match of the series have been a one-sided affair. South Africa won the first Test inside first six sessions while England won the second within the first three days. However, with the series on the line, a much close game is expected to be on the cards.

When it comes to the Playing XI, England are also expected to field the same one as that of the second Test match. But then one also needs to consider that the Test match is a week away. Only in case of an injury in the coming days, England might be forced to make changes.

Sticking to the same Playing XI would also mean, England batter Harry Brook’s wait for the Test cap gets longer.

England squad:Zak Crawley, Alex Lees, Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes (c), Ben Foakes (wk), Stuart Broad, Jack Leach, Ollie Robinson, James Anderson, Harry Brook, Craig Overton, Matthew Potts
