The third edition of the Women’s Premier League will begin on February 14 in Baroda. The WPL 2025 Final will be played in Mumbai on March 15. As part of BCCI’s WPL expansion plan, as many as four cities will host WPL this time. Baroda will host the first leg from Feb 14-19. Bengaluru will host the second leg between Feb 21 and March 1. The caravan will then move to Lucknow between March 3-9.
Mumbai will host the final leg of the tournament between March 10-15. Mumbai’s Brabourne stadium will host the WPL Eliminator and the final as per the WPL 2025 Schedule.

WPL 2025 Venues
Unlike the two-city approach in the first two editions, four cities will host WPL 3 matches. While Mumbai and Bengaluru will remain on the roster, Vadodara (Baroda) and Lucknow will make their debuts as WPL hosts.

Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara
Kotambi Stadium, also known as the Baroda Cricket Association Stadium, officially opened on December 22, 2024. Located in Vadodara, Gujarat, it serves as the home ground for the Baroda Cricket Association and the Gujarat Titans. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 40,000 and features modern amenities designed to enhance the spectator experience.
The inaugural matches were a three-match One Day International series between the women’s teams of India and West Indies, marking a significant return of international cricket to Vadodara. The stadium is equipped with five indoor full-length pitches and 17 outdoor pitches. Additionally, its innovative design allows for a 360-degree view of the field, providing fans with an excellent viewing experience. With a construction cost of around ₹200 crores, Kotambi Stadium is poised to become a key venue for both domestic and international cricket events in the coming years
M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
M Chinnaswamy Stadium, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is a premier cricket venue. A high-scoring venue and vibrant atmosphere with historical significance, players love to play at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Established in 1969, it has a seating capacity of around 40,000 and serves as the home ground for the Karnataka state team and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL. The stadium was named after Mangalam Chinnaswamy, a key figure in Indian cricket administration.
Notably, it was the first stadium to implement solar energy, showcasing a commitment to sustainability. Ekana Stadium, Lucknow
Ekana Stadium, officially known as Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, is a premier cricket venue located in Lucknow, India. Opened in 2018, it has a seating capacity of 50,000, making it one of the largest cricket stadiums in the country. The stadium serves as the home ground for the Uttar Pradesh cricket team and the IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants.
Designed with modern facilities, Ekana Stadium features the longest straight boundaries among Indian stadiums. It has hosted various international matches, including games during the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup. Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai
Brabourne Stadium is a historic cricket venue in Mumbai. It was inaugurated on December 7, 1937. Named after Lord Brabourne, the stadium was built on reclaimed land along Marine Drive. It has a seating capacity of approximately 20,000. It serves as the home ground for the Cricket Club of India (CCI) and has hosted numerous significant matches, including India’s first Test match post-World War II.
The stadium is renowned for its traditional charm and has undergone modern renovations to enhance facilities while preserving its historical essence. With its picturesque setting and rich legacy, Brabourne Stadium remains a cherished landmark in Indian cricket history.
