India host Afghanistan for a Test match and three ODIs. The one-off Test begins on June 6, while the three ODIs are on June 14, 17 and 20. This is India’s first bilateral ODI series against Afghanistan after their first bilateral T20 series in 2024. The India vs Afghanistan Test will be the 2nd time India played one back in 2018. India announced their squad for the IND vs AFG series on May 19, with Shubman Gill leading both Test and ODI sides.
