India cricket team is all set to hold their first practice session on Monday (December 8) ahead of the IND vs SA 1st T20I at the Barabati stadium in Cuttack. Suryakumar Yadav and co. will take on South Africa in a five-match series which will mark their second last series before the T20 World Cup 2026. The Men in Blue will be looking to add another series victory to their name and will be boosted by the likes of Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill who have rejoined the side.
Can fans watch Team India practice session live?
As per Odisha TV, Team India is scheduled to train at the Barabati stadium on Monday afternoon. Suryakumar Yadav and co. will practice from 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM. The report states that two galleries – number 6 and 7 – have been opened by the Odisha Cricket Association to let fans watch the practice session live. However, it is pertinent to point out that the session will not be live streamed or telecast.
Meanwhile, South Africa are scheduled to practice between 5.30 PM to 8.30 PM under the floodlights. Fans can watch both the teams train from the aforementioned galleries on Monday. Meanwhile, traffic restrictions have also been issued for the duration of the net sessions.
