Rohit Sharma to Visit CoE on September 13

“Yes, Rohit will be at the BCCI’s CoE from September 13 for fitness tests. He will be based here for two-three days and will also practice at the facility to fine-tune his preparations for the Australia white-ball tour in November. With the CoE also staging the Duleep Trophy final at its main ground (A) from September 11-15, Rohit will undergo fitness tests and train at a different ground at the same facility,” a source told TOI.

Virat Kohli Likely to Participate in IND A vs AUS A Series

In fact, Rohit Sharma will not only undergo the Yo-yo Test, but also the Bronco test. In addition, there is also a speculation that along with Rohit, Virat Kohli may also participate in the IND A vs AUS A ODI series, which is slated to start next month itself, in Kanpur. Post that, the duo will be seen in action in the ODI series vs Australia from October 19 in Perth.

Both the stalwarts had last played for Team India in the Champions Trophy in March, where we had emerged victorious after beating New Zealand in the final. For quite some time now, questions have been raised over Rohit and Virat’s availability for the 2027 World Cup.
