It is the same venue where the Indian women’s team recorded history and enjoyed their maiden ICC World Cup win. The tournament could not have asked for a better curtain-raiser as defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) faced off against a revitalised Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team captained by Smriti Mandhana.
