Rajasthan Royals star Tanush Kotian, who has never to date batted at any position above number 8 in domestic cricket, got the opportunity to open for the side. Kotian made his IPL debut against Punjab Kings on Saturday. The all-rounder was brought in as the replacement for Adam Zampa.

Who is Tanush Kotian?
Kotian is an off-spinning all-rounder who excelled at Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy 2023-24 Ranji Trophy campaign. The off-spinner has 75 wickets in 26 first class matches and has scored 1152 runs at an average of over 42.
