Different types of ducks in cricket
Diamond Duck: A Diamond Duck is possibly the worst for any batsman as he gets out without facing a delivery. Such type of duck for batsman comes into play in case of run out or if he has obstructed the field without having faced a ball.
Golden Duck: Golden Duck means when a batsman gets out for the very first ball of the innings without scoring a single run.
Silver Duck: A batsman gets Silver duck when he goes back to pavilion after facing just two deliveries and have not opened the scoring.
Bronze Duck: A bronze duck is when the batsman gets out for zero only after facing just three deliveries
Royal Duck: The Royal duck label is given to the opening batsman who gets out for a duck of the very first delivery during The Ashes series which is played between Australia and England.
Laughing Duck: The unique thing only happens when the batsman is out for a duck and the innings of his innings comes to end with his wicket.
A Pair: A batsman earns a pair of ducks when he gets out in both innings of the same match.
King Pair: A batsman gets King Pair of duck only when he is dismissed on Golden Ducks in both innings of the same match.
Batting Hattrick : The llabel of batting hattrick is given to the batsman when he is dismissed thrice in three balls across any consecutive Test innings.
