Babar Azam reveals that his mother was very happy watching him smash a century in PSL 2024. Azam remained unbeaten for his 111 runs in just 63 deliveries during the Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi. The PZ skipper says that it was the first time his mother had come to watch him play. He adds that she enjoyed his knock.

“She came for the first time (talking about his mom). Very happy. She always watches from home. Good luck for me that she came and I scored hundred. This is my best one,” Azam said at the post-match press conference.
Azam started off on a cautious note as he normally does but picked up the pace after his fifty. Babar was fierce against Naseem Shah’s brother Hunain Shah in the 18th over of the first innings as he smashed him with 23 runs in it.
He hit four fours in that over along with a six and a single and continued his onslaught till the last over ending with an unbeaten knock of 111 off 63 balls.
