Counter-Strike Global Offensive: Valve releases the Dreams & Nightmares case in the game – Today Valve announces the new patch update for the Counter-Strike Global Offensive players. They are shipping the Dreams & Nightmares Case, featuring 17 weapon finishes selected from the CS: GO Steam Workshop as part of the Dreams & Nightmares contest and the Gamma Knives from the Operation Riptide case as rare special items! THE DREAMS & NIGHTMARES CASE – Introducing the Dreams & Nightmares Case featuring the winning 17 community-designed weapon finishes. The Counter-Strike Global Offensive team reviewed over 15,000 entries from artists around the world and selected 17 weapon finishes to ship in the case. Each winning entry received $100,000 USD, for a grand total prize pool of $1.7 million.

The winning submissions were produced by 23 different artists, of which 14 were first-time contributors to the workshop. We want to thank everyone who submitted entries and took part in the contest. The case is now available as an in-game drop and from the Steam Community Market!
MISC – Updated colors of Operation Riptide Diamond Coin model.
[ MAPS ] Insertion 2
- Replaced weird tree boost spot next to the orange building(next to the dentist) with an easier more exposed boost.
- Moved to spawn points at House around a bit and turned off collision on the mailboxes there, to prevent team spawn blocking.
- Cleaned up mid a bit by removing a fence and a blue barrel.
- Blocked off a sightline from on top of the meat/egg shelf into the backroom toilet in Market.
- Tweaked size of trigger for the train station automated door so its possible to go sneak past it through the glass windows.
- Fixed so the auto shotgun can break the cubicles in the office.
- Minor graphical issues fixed.
