On October 28, Tyson Fury will square off against former UFC champion Franciso Ngannou, and Oleksandr Usyk says he’ll be there to watch. Oleksandr is interested to see the outcome of Fury’s battle with the strong 6’4″ Ngannou. He gives Ngannou a puncher’s chance of winning, but he doesn’t think he’ll succeed.
Usyk said he is interested in watching the boxing match between Fury and Francis, who has never competed in a professional boxing contest. Usyk predicts that Fury will “100%” prevail.

Oleksandr Usyk In Support of Tyson Fury
The battle between Fury and Ngannou, which American viewers may see on ESPN+ PPV for $79, is widely regarded as a disgrace that shouldn’t even be allowed to take place.
Fury looks like he’s aged in dog years since 2021 and doesn’t physically like the person who defeated Deontay Wilder in their trilogy bout, so you can’t rule out Ngannou pulling off an unexpected victory. What Fury has been doing to age that quickly is unknown, but he appears to be in his late 40s. You have to give Ngannou a chance in this battle if he can hit his potent strikes given the physical transformation in Fury.
Even though Ngannou is incredibly slow, if he lands on his large lantern jaw, he can knock Fury out cold. Usyk, the undefeated heavyweight champion of the IBF, WBA, and WBO (21-0, 14 KOs), would prefer for his bout with Fury to take place in December, but he doesn’t believe it will.
After his battle with Ngannou, WBC champion Fury will probably eat well and gain a lot of weight, and he won’t be prepared to face Usyk for the undisputed belt in December.

To be fair to Ngannou, he probably isn’t much worse than Dereck Chisora or Dillian Whyte, Fury’s previous two opponents. Ngannou couldn’t possibly be worse than the two British heavyweights if he tried. It is shameful that Fury has been able to exploit his WBC championship and fleece his UK supporters in fights like that. The most tragic aspect of it is that Fury’s supporters paid to watch these horrible battles.
