Tyson Fury banned for a week, seeks rematch against Usyk

Usyk required four stitches after his bout with the ‘Gypsy King’ and also survived a broken jaw scare which was later cleared. Fury has insisted on his contracted rematch with Usyk which is slated to take place in October in Riyadh.

There will be a rematch and that will be confirmed and announced in due course. I think it will be better than the original fight. They both know each other, they’ve shared the ring and they’ll be looking to use what they’ve gained from the fight as an advantage to beat their opponent,” Tyson Fury’s promoter Frank Warren told PA news agency.

Fury lost to his rival on points, thereby losing his world title.
