Deontay Wilder arrested in LA: Recently, professional boxer Deontay Wilder made headlines after Los Angeles police arrested him. As per the reports, police pulled out Wilder’s car after having illegally tinted windows and an obstructed license plate. Further, the police pulled out Wilder and searched his car where they found burnt marijuana. To make matters worse, they also found a 9mm pistol in Deontay Wilder’s Rolls Royce. Following this search, the police immediately took Wilder into custody and charged him with illegal weapon and weed in his car.

As per the reports, Deontay Wilder remained calm and was cooperative with the police during the arrest. This arrest shocked the boxing fans and put his next fight against Anthony Joshua in jeopardy.

Will Deontay Wilder compete after a police case?

Deontay Wilder has admitted the offenses and cooperated with the police. Now, the US court will put Wilder on trail imposing multiple charges on him. Currently, it is unknown how severe offenses will be booked and what charges will be imposed on him. Either way, Wilder will be on the sidelines due to the recent crime.

Meanwhile, his upcoming bout with Anthony Joshua might be put on hold. There is still talks for the negotiations of the fight. Deontay Wilder made a big comeback in his last fight after two consecutive losses against Tyson Fury. There is no doubt Deontay will be back in the title picture very soon after he is done with Anthony Joshua.
