The Indian scene of esports is witnessing the biggest revolution. “Universal MVP” Jonathan Gaming, who has been an important part of GodLike Esports for almost five years now, has started taking steps towards something big. After weeks of intense speculation following the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals, Jonathan has finally dropped a cryptic teaser on his Instagram, pointing toward a major revelation regarding his new team on April 12.

In the latest Instagram story, there is a video of a supercar driving through a twisty mountain road, with an outstanding black heart emoji floating above the scenery. More importantly, the Instagram post is marked with the username @blackheartontop.

As for the formal name of his upcoming team, it still remains a secret to all of us. However, given the continuous presence of the black heart emoji from Jonathan and his team throughout the past weeks, it would be safe to say that the name of Jonathan’s upcoming organization would either be Blackheart or Blackheart On Top or something related to that.

The End of an Era for Jonathan with GodLike Esports

Rumors started circulating as soon as BGIS 2026 had its survival stage, during which Jonathan was bench from a game for the first time in his career. Even though the management stated that it had “strategic reasons,” things took a different turn after the finals that took place in Chennai. GodLike managed to get the 5th place, and very soon, his teammates, Spower mentioned that BGIS 2026 was the end for him within this team.

In his latest message to the community, Jonathan noted that he highly appreciates this organization but has to take care of himself and his future plans. To all his followers who witnessed the rise of “GodL Jonathan” since 2021, it is like an end of an era.
