A woman he met at the event accused the Irishman of sexual assault after he punched the team’s mascot and hospitalised him. Many are unsure if he’ll genuinely return to the Octagon as he was predicted to after the disastrous incident.

Following a mascot incident last month, Conor McGregor may lose a significant sponsorship deal.
During a stunt at an NBA game, The Notorious punched Burnie, the mascot of the Miami Heat basketball team. The man wearing the mascot suit needed hospital care as a result. At the game in Florida, a lady also accused McGregor of sexual assault, which the UFC fighter vehemently denied.
The claims were described as “no more than a shakedown” by a lawyer for McGregor.
According to reports from the United States, McGregor’s Tidl Sports spray brand was to be named the Miami Heat’s “official pain relief partner,” and players would wear a Tidl Sports patch on their shirts as part of the agreement.
