India’s badminton queen PV Sindhu will be in action, along with India male shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and Lakshya Sen, s they look to end the year on a high. @14:30 – Kidambi Srikanth vs Guang Zu Lu LIVE

Kidambi Srikanth is one of the few seeded Indian players and he showed his class as he progressed into the round of 16. The Indian ace clinched an opening round 21-12, 21-16 win over Pablo Abian, before following it up with a come from behind 15-21, 21-18, 21-17 to make it to the pre-quarters. Srikanth will now face a stern test in Guang Zu Lu and will hope to make it to the quarterfinals of the BWF World Championships. The duo have met only once previously with Srikanth winning the clash at the Indian Open back in 2019.

@14:30 – PV Sindhu vs Pornpawee Chochuwong LIVE

Defending champion PV Sindhu will be hoping to continue her good run and reclaim her title in Madrid this year. Sindhu got off to a brilliant start, beating Martina Repiska in straight games with great ease. The Indian ace will now face off against Pornpawee Chochuwong for a place in the quarter-finals. The dup have faced seven times in their career, with Sindhu holding the edge with a 4-3 lead. Chochuwong however has won the last two games between the two, beating Sindhu at the All England Open and the World Tour Finals.

@14:30 – Lakshya Sen vs Kevin Cordon LIVE

Lakshya Sen had luck going his way after he received a bye in his fort round. However, the Indian prodigy then showcased his class to out stage Kenta Nishimoto to enter the pre-quarters. Lakshya Sen held his guard against a much higher-ranked opponent to take the match and seal progress in the next round. He will be up against Kevin Cordon,  and the duo have previously never played each other and an exciting match could be on the cards in Madrid.
