The 19th edition of the Asian Games will culminate with a closing ceremony on Sunday, 8th October. The continental multi-sport event at Hangzhou, China witnessed two weeks of intense sporting action featuring athletes from 45 countries across Asia. What to expect at the Closing Ceremony?
Like the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony will also feature performances that showcased China’s culture as well as the advancements in technology. Over 2,100 performers are expected to perform in the ceremony.
According to the Director of the closing ceremony, Sha Ziaolan, the closing ceremony is also set to feature the digital torch-bearer. It was the attraction at the opening ceremony as well.

Who will be India’s flag-bearers?
India had a memorable outing in this edition of the Asian Games. The country recorded its best ever medals tally with a total of 107 medals. It includes 28 gold, 38 silver and 41 bronze. PR Sreejesh will be India’s flag-bearer.
