The women’s duo of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand’s campaign to the Macau open-ended after defeat in the hard-fought semifinals against Chinese Taipei’s eighth-seeded pair, Hsieh Pei-Shan and Hung En-Tzu, today. The third-seeded player lost in the final game (21-17, 16-21, 21-10) The Indian pair will be eager to reach their first BWF Tour final, having fallen short in the semifinals earlier this season. Treesa-Gayatri’s pair was the only duo from India alive in the competition.
