Mumbai Indians – 8/10 : The most successful team in the history of IPL have a few issues to handle as per their playing XI is concerned. The tournament is yet to commence, but MI already have gone through two shockers. The leader of the MI bowling attack, Jasprit Bumrah is struggling with injuries and will not be available for the forthcoming season. Alongside Bumrah, another pacer Australia’s Jhye Richardson will also miss the tournament due to fitness issues. They have a good batting lineup, but they lack strength in their lower order.

Chennai Super Kings – 9/10: The four-time champions Chennai Super Kings have assembled an incredible squad ahead of IPL 2023. The MS Dhoni-led team will start the season as favorites to win the title. They added one of the greatest all-rounder of the current generation Ben Stokes to their squad. Royal Challengers Bangalore – 9/10: Royal Challengers Bangalore is the one of the franchises with biggest fanbases. Consistency in performances has always been an issue for RCB. They will be eyeing their maiden IPL title in IPL 2023. They have not changed their squad much and the current squad is very identical to the one they had last year. They are probably the ones having the best squad for the season. Hopefully, they bring the trophy home this year.

Kolkata Knight Riders – 8.5/10: Kolkata Knight Riders went through a shocker as their captain Shreyas Iyer will not be available for IPL 2023. They still haven’t announced their captain for the season yet. Andre Russell will probably be the captain for them. They have some big match-winners in their squad but still they lack experience in their batting line-up. It will be very interesting to see whom KKR will announce their captain for IPL 2023.

Punjab Kings – 8/10: Punjab Kings’ squad for IPL 2023 will be a bit different than the players which they had last year. Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has been announced the captain of the side. SunRisers Hyderabad – 8.5/10: SunRisers Hyderabad has a strong squad for IPL 2023. The addition of Harry Brook and Glenn Philips to their batting line-up is a huge boost for them. Rajasthan Royals – 8/10: The champions of the inaugural IPL season have always been the best franchise for youngsters. They have a lot of dependency on the youngsters. The biggest issue for them is the lack of depth in their batting order. Jason Holder, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Abdul Basith are the only three all-rounders present in their squad. Delhi Capitals – 8.5/10: IPL 2023 will not be the same for Delhi Capitals as their captain star wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant will not be seen playing for them. Rishabh is still recovering from the accident he met recently. Australia batter David Warner will lead the side this year. Warner is not new to captaincy as he already has won an IPL title as a captain. He led SRH to victory in IPL 2016. Absence of Pant will create a few issues in their playing 11.

Lucknow Supergiants – 9/10: The KL Rahul-led Lucknow Supergiants did pretty well last season qualifying for the playoffs. They have not tried to change their playing 11 much from the last season. However, they have added Nicholas Pooran to their squad who can be a mact-winner for them. The team looks solid on paper. Their inexperienced bowling line-up is a matter of concern, otherwise their squad is looking fantastic.
