Tournament Structure Explained
The Free Fire World Cup 2025 is structured into three distinct phases:
- Knockout Stage (July 16-18): This initial stage saw 18 teams divided into three groups. Each team played 12 games, and the top 12 from the overall standings advanced to both the Point Rush and Grand Finals.
- Point Rush (July 19): This is today’s stage, where the 12 qualified teams will play 6 matches. Their performance here directly impacts their starting points for the Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals (July 20): The culmination of the tournament, featuring 6 matches where teams will start with their accumulated headstart points from the Point Rush.
Champion Rush Format in the FFWC 2025 Grand Finals
The Grand Finals of Esports World Cup 2025: Free Fire will follow an exciting “Champion Rush Format”: Teams will play standard matches until one team reaches a predetermined score of 80 points, known as the “Champion Rush Point.” Once a team hits this threshold, all subsequent matches become “Champion Rush Point Eligible” for that specific team. The first team to secure a “Booyah!” (victory) after reaching 80 points will be crowned the champion. If no team achieves a “Booyah!” after reaching 80 points, the team with the highest overall points after 10 matches will be declared the winner.
