PUBG Mobile has revealed the full format for its inaugural PUBG MOBILE World Cup aka PMWC 2024 as part of a three year partnership between Level Infinite and the Esports World Cup Foundation. The tournament is the premier summer PUBGM tournament and will see the world’s top players compete for a $3,000,000 USD prize pool as part of the Esports World Cup.
PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 aka PMWC 2024: Slot Allocation
The PUBG MOBILE World Cup enters the 2024 calendar adding even more competition and action to the midseason slot, with only the very best teams of 2024 invited to compete. 24 teams will take part in the tournament:
- Five teams from Southeast Asia
- Four teams from Central and South Asia
- Four teams from EMEA
- Three teams from The Americas
- Two teams from China
- One from South Korea
- One from Japan
- Winner of PUBG MOBILE Rivals Cup (PMRC) Korea vs Japan
- PMGO 2024 Winner
- Two additional teams will receive a special invite

Format
The first stage, the Group Stage, will feature all 24 teams going head to head. From this, the top twelve will automatically qualify for the Main Stage Event. However, the remaining teams will move onto the Survival Stage, where they will battle with each other, and 4 teams invited from the PUBG MOBILE Super League (PMSL), for the last four available Main Stage spots.
Those top four will then progress to the Main Stage and rejoin the other qualified teams, where all 16 will fight for one thing, their chance to win the inaugural PUBG Mobile World Cup.
