HLTV Awards - Everything you need to know about the award ceremony

This weekend the biggest teams, players and personalities from competitive Counter-Strike will gather in Belgrade, Serbia for the annual HLTV Awards presented by 1XBET. The award show will be streaming live on January 11th from 18:00 CET. The prestigious award show will celebrate, recognize and shine a spotlight on those who have achieved greatness. Throughout the night fans and guests will see winners crowned across 17 awards from three categories; HLTV Awards, Panel Awards and Community Awards. The HLTV Awards are shortlisted by HLTV expert staff, the Panel Awards are selected by industry experts including top teams and broadcasters and the Community Awards are determined through votes cast by fans on the HLTV website.

HLTV Awards – Prestigious Award Night of Counter-Strike

Awards include Team of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Talent of the Year, Coach of the Year and the coveted Player of the Year with the final three shortlisted players being named on the day. To announce the awards a plethora of iconic Counter-Strike faces will take to the stage including the likes of Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski, Richard “shox” Papillon, Kenny “kennyS” Schrub and Lucy “LucyLuce” Eastwood.

Talent for the evening will include Freya ‘Freya’ Spiers and Conner ‘Scrawny’ Girvan as hosts, and dona and Alex ‘Machine’ Richardson as interviewers. Chad ‘SPUNJ’ Burchill, Milan ‘Striker’ Švejda and Zvonimir ‘Professeur’ Burazin will also be providing insights and commentary.

The HLTV Awards will also host the Hall of Fame presented by 1XBET. The Hall of Fame recognises players and coaches who have gone above and beyond to contribute to the legacy of competitive Counter-Strike. This year will see GeT_RiGhT, HeatoN, f0rest and Potti inducted. Each inductee will receive a special Rolex featuring a Hall of Fame inscription as well as being celebrated on the night and having their careers highlighted through articles, videos, and a special HLTV player profile.
