AESF and TESF signed an agreement for Asian Esports Games
The Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF) and the Thailand Esports Federation (TESF) signed a cooperation agreement. It was a preparatory meeting for the upcoming Asian Esports Games. The agreement was signed by AESF Director General Mr. Sebastian Lau and TESF President Mr. Santi Lothong, in the presence of Mr. Nattapol Antarasen, Director of the Professional Sports Development Promotion Division, and officials from the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), at the 7th Anniversary Chalermprakiat Building, SAT, in Bangkok, Thailand.
The purpose of the agreement is to organize the Asian Esports Games, scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will be organized in accordance with Olympic values, standards, and regulations. AESF will act as the sanctioning body, while TESF will serve as the host and organizer, with support from SAT and the National Sports Development Fund of Thailand (NSDF). The event will bring together national teams from AESF member associations across Asia to compete.
The agreement covers various aspects of event organization, including competition planning, venue selection, game title licensing, international technical officials, team invitations, and comprehensive services for participating teams. Full coverage of flights, accommodation, and logistical arrangements will be provided for participating teams. AESF will also serve as the Technical Delegate, overseeing the selection and management of the International Technical Officials (ITOs) and team invitations.
