The 37-year-old who would be turning up for Delhi against Andhra at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, currently has 15,999 LIST A runs in his career, only one run away from becoming the 2nd Indian to scale Mt. 16K.

The first on the list is of course Sachin Tendulkar, who has 21,999 runs to his name. If one digs deep into Virat Kohli’s records, in 342 matches, he has scored all those runs at an average of over 57. Surprisingly, the world record is held by England’s Graham Gooch; he has 22,211 runs in his exceptionally long career.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant will lead the Delhi squad in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, but it remains unclear, as to how many matches will the Indian stars play in the domestic competition. After the Andhra match, Delhi will take on Gujarat, Saurashtra, Odisha, Services, Railways, and Haryana.
