Catch all the information you need to know about the live streaming of Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) Round 6 matches on January 6.

Ever since Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma showed up earlier in the tournament, the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) 2025/26 has found its spotlight again. With just two group games remaining, the race for the top two spots has reached boiling point, and the BCCI’s directive for all available international players to feature has ensured that Round 6 carries serious star power, including Sanju Samson, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer.

Although Kohli was initially expected to play on January 6, he has opted out to prepare for the upcoming India vs New Zealand ODI series. So has Rohit Sharma. Still, the absence of them has hardly dented the excitement. Shreyas Iyer makes his long-awaited return for Mumbai after his injury in Australia. Shubman Gill is back for Punjab after being dropped from India’s T20I squad. Sanju Samson continues for Kerala, while KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel headline an imposing star list.

Will Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma play on January 6?

No. Rohit Sharma and Kohli are resting from this round to focus on India’s upcoming ODI series against New Zealand.

Will there be live telecast on TV?

Once again, no full-scale TV broadcast for all games.

Why is there no full broadcast of all VHT matches?

With 38 teams playing simultaneously across the country, BCCI’s broadcast facilities remain limited to a handful of venues, leading to selective streaming only. This time, matches at the Narendra Modi Stadium and Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot are being live streamed.

  • Group A – Kerala v Pondicherry – 9:00 AM IST
  • Group B – Bengal v Hyderabad – 9:00 AM IST

The two matches that will be available for live streaming will be Bengal vs Hyderabad and Kerala vs Puducherry.
