Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is all set to host the grand finale of the T20 World Cup 2026 as co-hosts India lock horns with New Zealand in a bid to secure their third title. While the high-octane contest will be a mouthwatering one, fans will also be treated to some sensational performances from some of the biggest stars in the country before the game starts. Ahead of the IND vs NZ T20 World Cup final, let us take a look at the details of the grand closing ceremony planned for fans in Ahmedabad.
T20 World Cup 2026 closing ceremony
Gates at the Narendra Modi Stadium will be thrown open to the fans from 3.30 PM IST onwards on Sunday. The performances are scheduled to begin from 5.30 PM IST onwards, leading up to the toss which will take place at 6.30 PM IST. From Ricky Martin to Falguni Pathak, fans await a treat with a host of stars set to enthrall the audience before the T20 World Cup final between IND and NZ.
Falguni Pathak will commence the T20 World Cup closing ceremony and will perform along with 50 dancers. This will be followed by bhangra sensation Sukhbir Singh delivering a performance which is expected to set the stage on fire. Ricky Martin, a two-time Grammy Award winner, will wrap up the show by dropping some of his biggest hits to give the closing ceremony an apt ending.
