Sunrisers Hyderabad will begin their IPL 2026 campaign on the opening day, on March 28, against the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In Phase 1, SRH will only play one home game, on April 5, against Lucknow Super Giants. It will be a day game. Pat Cummins & Co will aim to make amends to their disappointing campaign last season when they finished 6th, missing out on the playoff spot. With Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma in prime form, SRH will be a scary sight for the bowlers.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced only Phase 1 of the IPL 2026 schedule with just 20 games. The rest of the fixtures will be out after the assembly election dates for West Bengal, Assam, and Tamil Nadu are announced.
