Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will commence their IPL 2026 campaign by taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the tournament opener on March 28 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for just the first 20 matches. Cricket is all set to return to the iconic venue in Karnataka’s capital for the first time since the Bengaluru stampede which saw 11 people being killed and several injured.
