Pretorius Capitals suffered a big blow ahead of the start of SA 2024 as star pacer Anrich Nortje has been ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury.
Notably, the 30-year-old pacer has been out of cricketing action since September 2023 after he sustained a back injury during the 5-match ODI series against Australia.
The franchise has included pacer Hardus Viljoen as Anrich Nortje’s replacement for the season.

Pretoria Capitals will begin their campaign on January 12 with game against Paarl Royals.
The franchise had an impressive performance in the inaugural SA20, reaching the final of the tournament where they suffered a defeat in the final against Sunrisers Eastern Cape.
